Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Takeshi Sendoh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jeff vickers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). vickers has chosen buisness as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Hirohito Nitta and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sendoh rushes vickers and presses him up against the cage.
Sendoh is leaning against vickers and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Knees to the body from Sendoh.
vickers drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Sendoh gets the underhooks and prevents it.
vickers is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Sendoh lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of vickers backwards.
vickers jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sendoh walks away with a smile on his face. vickers gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Sendoh scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Takeshi Sendoh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of jeff vickers.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Sendoh is stalling here. vickers is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Sendoh seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and vickers has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
vickers decides to stand back up. vickers steps back and let's Sendoh get back to his feet.

so Sendoh counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Sendoh wants to stand and escape but instead vickers has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
vickers stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sendoh swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
vickers darts in and clinches Sendoh up against the cage.
Sendoh digs a right hand underneath vickers's ribcage. vickers let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Sendoh blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Sendoh breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
vickers wants to clinch but Sendoh slips to the side
and Sendoh counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Sendoh is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Sendoh with a flurry of punches that miss.
Sendoh stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. vickers swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Sendoh is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Sendoh is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

and Sendoh counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. vickers is lucky that one didn't land flush.

vickers is looking to stand back up but Sendoh counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by vickers.
Sendoh slows the pace down in half guard.
vickers is looking to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
