Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moxon clinches up with Ryan and pushes him back against the cage. Moxon slowing the pace effectively. Moxon scores with a shoulder strike. Moxon lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
It looks like Christopher Ryan has been cut. Ryan tries to land a knee to the head but Moxon blocks with his arms.
Moxon turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Moxon manages to end up in side control. Moxon goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Ryan has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Moxon but great work by Ryan. Moxon looks to move to half guard but instead Ryan has passed into mount! Damn! Moxon really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Moxon tries to lock up and control but Ryan gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Moxon is wriggling around trying to escape.
Ryan misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Moxon is in all sorts of trouble here.
Moxon is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ryan tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moxon blocking the ground and pound. Moxon is trying to escape the mount.
Ryan thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Moxon is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Ryan working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Moxon turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Ryan off and cradles Moxon's limp body as Ryan celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Christopher Ryan! Christopher Ryan is the new middleweight champion!
