Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alamat Ang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mad Dog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mad Dog will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Alamat Ang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mad Dog! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good standup being displayed there by Ang as he connects with a hook. Dog on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. A slapping leg kick lands for Ang.

Ang misses with a hook. Ang connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Dog's hands. Dog scores a takedown into full mount! Dog tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Dog landing strikes, looking to finish! Dog gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Dog throws the left hand but Ang avoids the punch easily. Ang lands with an uppercut that bounces Dog off the cage and back into rage. Alamat Ang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ang connects with a right hand. Dog shakes it off. Ang connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Dog takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Dog clinches up with Ang and pushes him back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ang is looking to break free of the clinch but Dog has double underhooks. Dog stalling the fight.
Ang pushes Dog back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Ang is trying to break the clinch but Dog has him pressed against the cage. Dog manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Ang wants to stand and escape but instead Dog has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Ang controls Dog momentarily but Dog frees himself. Ang wants to hit a switch here but Dog passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Ang there! Dog lands a big elbow. Dog controlling from the full mount. Ang tries to hold on but Dog pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ang tries to get back to half guard but can't. Dog has hold of Ang's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Ang manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dog controlling the position easily from mount. Dog looks gassed! Dog avoids the attempt from Ang to control. Ang could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Dog is working for a guillotine from mount but Ang frees his head quite easily.
Ang is working to get back to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ang wants to control but Dog is having none of it. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Ang really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Dog lands a nice shot to the head. Ang tries to reverse the position but Dog maintains control. Ang tries to lock up and control but Dog gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Ang is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Dog is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Dog controlling the position easily from mount. Ang is looking to improve his position but Dog isn't that keen on the idea.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Dog controlling the pace for now. Ang tries to reverse the position but Dog maintains control. Dog landing strikes from the mount and Ang is in trouble! Ang is looking to improve his position but Dog isn't that keen on the idea. Dog lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Ang hang on? Dog landing punches. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ang takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Ang tries to hold on but Dog postures up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Mad Dog will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Dog closes the distance and clinches. Dog breaks from the clinch.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Dog. Dog shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ang manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Ang wants to stand but Dog is controlling the position. Ang tries to land a sweep but no joy. Dog stops Ang from standing up. Ang wants to sweep but no luck. Ang knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dog on the ground. Dog postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dog postures up.
Dog is breathing heavily.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Dog is looking to clinch. Dog shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ang but Ang pushes him off and we're back to square one. Ang fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Dog. Ang connects with a looping right hand.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ang, as that shot connected.
Ang connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Dog momentarily.
Dog ducks right into an uppercut from Ang. Ang scores with a body shot.
Ang lands with a cross. A jab lands there for Ang. This has been an exciting period of action! Ang connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Dog is rocked! Ang drops Dog with a naaaaasty hook - Dog is in real trouble here! Ang dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alamat Ang!
