Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michael Myers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harald Treutiger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Myers is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Myers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Harald Treutiger! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Treutiger fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Myers sprawls well initially but Treutiger persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Myers is breathing heavily. Treutiger trying to control the pace. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Myers avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Treutiger. Treutiger controlling the action here. Treutiger really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Myers. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Treutiger trying to pass the guard but Myers defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Myers blocking the ground and pound attempt from Treutiger. Treutiger looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Despite being in the dominant position, Harald Treutiger just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Treutiger changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Myers looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Treutiger working away. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Treutiger tries to move into full mount but can't pass Myers's legs. Treutiger is trying to get an arm triangle but Myers is defending well. Myers gets back to half guard. Myers desperately trying to maintain half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Treutiger seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Myers is trying to control but can't.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Harald Treutiger dominated that round. The cut man is working on Michael Myers's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Treutiger avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Myers with a poor takedown and Treutiger decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Myers's guard. Treutiger passes Myers's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Myers trying to control from the bottom.

Myers tries to roll over but Treutiger keeps him under control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Treutiger is taking a breather. Myers says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's one minute gone in the round. Myers wants to get back to full guard but Treutiger has mounted him! Treutiger scores with a couple of good head shots there.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Treutiger must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Myers is trying to keep Treutiger in close.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Treutiger controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Myers wants to sweep here but Treutiger controlling him for the moment. Treutiger stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Myers swivels though and keeps the full guard. Treutiger prevents Myers from getting back to his feet. Myers looking to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Treutiger darts in and clinches Myers up against the cage. Treutiger has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Myers uses from the top position. Treutiger has Myers pulled in close to control his posture. Treutiger looking for a sweep. Not yet Treutiger, not yet. Myers wants to pass the guard but Treutiger is keeping the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Harald Treutiger showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Michael Myers's cut. That's time! Myers's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Myers clinches but Treutiger breaks the clinch and Treutiger counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Myers! Treutiger controlling his opponent. Treutiger's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Myers is looking to improve his position but Treutiger isn't that keen on the idea. Myers tries to lock up and control but Treutiger gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Treutiger controlling the pace for now. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Myers is looking to get to half guard. Myers throwing hammer fists to the chest of Treutiger. What's that going to do exactly? Treutiger content just to control the position here. Let's hope that Treutiger has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Harald Treutiger has got the better of the ground game so far. Treutiger is looking to work his way around to Myers's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Treutiger lands a heavy elbow. Treutiger controlling his opponent. Myers is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Treutiger is standing up, even though he is in mount. Treutiger lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Myers backs up against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Myers stuffs the takedown attempt from Treutiger. Treutiger gets slowly back to his feet. Treutiger gets the takedown into side control. Myers is looking to regain half guard here but Treutiger keeps moving and retains side control. Treutiger is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Myers is trying to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Myers is trying to control Treutiger's posture but Treutiger avoids it. Myers is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Treutiger is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Treutiger is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Michael Myers has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Harald Treutiger is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Treutiger scoring with punches and elbows.
