Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Paulo Santos and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gamma shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Gamma was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Gamma postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Hardy looks a forlorn figure.
Hardy wants to try and get back to his feet.

Gamma throwing strikes here but Hardy is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Hardy on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hardy tries to get out of the position.

Gamma's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Gamma throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Hardy because Gamma loaded up on that one.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

You get the feeling that Hardy really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Hardy trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Gamma has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Hardy's face.

Hardy's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Gamma scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
A bone on bone clash there as Gamma blocks the leg kick.
Gamma misses with a hook. Hardy ducked under it nicely.
Hardy tries to close the distance and clinch but Gamma swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Hardy closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Gamma is trying to escape back to his feet but Hardy uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Hardy tries to stall but Gamma uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Hardy throws a knee to the head but misses.
Hardy slowing the pace effectively.
Hardy misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Hardy gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Gamma.
Hardy tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Gamma smiles and moves away.
Gamma lands with a cross.
Gamma lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

A close second round but Dog Gamma will probably get the nod - 10:9.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Gamma shoots for a takedown but Hardy saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Hardy shoots in for a takedown but Gamma shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Gamma lands a nice looking kick to the body. Hardy takes a step back to recover.
Hardy moves in looking to clinch but Gamma pushes him off.
Gamma throws a sloppy head kick and Hardy moves out of range easily.
Hardy shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gamma as he jumps to the side.
Will Hardy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Will Hardy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
