Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Bruno Hogan and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bam avoids the head kick by Smoody.
Smoody misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bam shoots in but Smoody avoids the takedown attempt easily.
An inside leg kick lands from Smoody.
Bam blocks a head kick by Smoody.
Smoody misses with a body kick.
Smoody wants to land a leg kick but Bam is out of range.
Smoody tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bam tries to clinch but Smoody moves out of range.
Bam uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Smoody.
Smoody throws a low kick but it's checked well by Bam.
Hank Smoody seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bam lands a nice hook to Smoody's body. Smoody takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Bam thuds his right hand into Smoody's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Smoody throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Bam shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bam was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Smoody throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Bam feints and as Smoody raises his hands in defense, Bam changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Bam wants to control from the top but Smoody keeps moving.
Bam has gone for a leg lock! Smoody slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bam's guard.

Bam stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Bam misses with a takedown attempt - Smoody sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Bam goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Smoody rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Bam's guard! Nice work there by Smoody!

Smoody gets to his feet - Bam follows without any prompting.

Smoody moves into the clinch.
Smoody jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bam walks away with a smile on his face. Smoody gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Bam tries to score a power double leg takedown but Smoody sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bam somewhat.
Smoody throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Smoody punishes Bam's body with a nice straight punch.
Bam chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Smoody can pounce on him.
Bam looks for a takedown but Smoody sprawls well.
Hank Smoody has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bam Bam.
The fight stays on the outside here - Smoody looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Bam Bam showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
