Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Bauer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ethan Mars (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mars gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bauer postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Bauer trying to control but Mars is working from the bottom.
Bauer makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Mars is trying to control the position but Bauer postures up.
Mars is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Bauer throws a strike but Mars rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Bauer had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mars defends it easily.

Bauer escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mars gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Mars decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bauer, up you get!
Mars swats away the attempt to clinch by Bauer.

Bauer fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mars, pushing him back against the cage.

Mars goes for a takedown attempt but Bauer pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mars looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Mars counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Mars throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Bauer is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Mars wants to control but Bauer is keeping him busy.

Bauer has a hand on Mars's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Mars takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Mars wants to control the pace but Bauer is squirming around nicely.
Bauer tries to lock up and control but Mars gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Mars is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Bauer is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Bauer flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Mars anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Bauer and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Mars slips an arm under Bauer chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Mars has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Mars is squeezing on Bauer like an anaconda would it's prey. Bauer fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
