Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Pope (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Levi King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Pope lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and King has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from King and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
King throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
King moves out of range of the body kick from Pope.
Pope throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
King thows a body shot but no joy.
Pope tries to land a front kick but King steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Pope uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by King.
King swings for the body but Pope moves out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Pope lands a couple of digs.

King tries for a takedown but Pope sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pope turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

A low kick from Pope is predictable there
and King counters with a left and a right that stings Pope.
Pope does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

King throws out a loose jab but Pope uses good head movement to avoid it.
Pope moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pope is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Pope wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Pope connects with a nice short shot to King's temple.

Pope lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pope throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
