Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Harald De Wolfe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paul Walker has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Harald De Wolfe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paul Walker!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Luis Engracia and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
De Wolfe throws a wild body kick that Walker sees coming a mile off.
De Wolfe chopping away at his opponent's legs.
De Wolfe scoring well with a low kick there.
De Wolfe defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Walker.

Walker closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Walker lands in his opponent's guard.
Walker wants to pass the guard but De Wolfe is keeping the position.
Walker is stalling in the full guard.
Walker tries to free his leg and advance position but De Wolfe is retaining full guard.

Walker gets to his feet - De Wolfe follows without any prompting.
Harald De Wolfe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A big right from De Wolfe misses.
A right-left combo lands from De Wolfe.
De Wolfe showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Walker.
De Wolfe defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Walker.

De Wolfe with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
De Wolfe lands with a nice body punch.
De Wolfe lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
De Wolfe throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Walker fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Harald De Wolfe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul Walker.
Walker shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts De Wolfe as he jumps to the side.

Walker gets a takedown into half guard.
Walker looks gassed!

Walker wants to free his trapped foot but De Wolfe is holding on for dear life with his legs.
De Wolfe tries to get to full guard but Walker has control of the leg.
Walker passes to full mount!
Walker wants to control the pace but De Wolfe is squirming around nicely.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Walker is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but De Wolfe is surviving well by controlling Walker's body position as best he can.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Walker stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
No luck for Walker with that takedown attempt.
Walker looks to land a right hand but De Wolfe moved out of range.
Walker changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. De Wolfe tries to avoid it but Walker manages to keep hold of a leg and drag De Wolfe to the ground. De Wolfe escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Walker throws a right and a left that De Wolfe avoids nicely.
Walker closes this distance looking for a takedown but De Wolfe circles away.
De Wolfe throws a nice inside leg kick.

De Wolfe has Walker up against the cage in a clinch.
De Wolfe working Walker over with knees to the body.
De Wolfe crunches a lovely knee into Walker's ribcage.

De Wolfe scores with a knee to the head.
Walker jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as De Wolfe walks away with a smile on his face. Walker gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
De Wolfe lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Walker circles away quickly and effectively.
De Wolfe throws a body punch but Walker moves out of range.
De Wolfe misses with a body shot.
De Wolfe doesn't manage to clinch there - Walker circles away.
Walker dives in and grabs De Wolfe's left leg, looking for a takedown. De Wolfe pushes down on Walker's head and hops out.
De Wolfe looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

De Wolfe shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Walker napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Walker regains half guard.
De Wolfe is thwarting Walker's attempts to control the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

De Wolfe seems to be working for a kimura but Walker defends the submission attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Harald De Wolfe will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Walker fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but De Wolfe avoids it really well and circles away.

De Wolfe keeping moving, preventing Walker from controlling successfully.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Walker might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control De Wolfe kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
De Wolfe tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Walker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. De Wolfe swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Walker won't allow De Wolfe to get back to his feet.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Walker closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Walker lands in his opponent's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Walker trying to control the position from guard on top but De Wolfe is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Walker passes De Wolfe's left leg - he's now in half guard.

De Wolfe won't allow Walker to pass to mount.
De Wolfe keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

De Wolfe is trying to stand.

Walker postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for De Wolfe to stand up.

Walker darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Walker moves into full mount! De Wolfe won't be happy about that!

Walker is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. De Wolfe is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. De Wolfe flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Walker anticipates the leg and manages to get behind De Wolfe and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Walker slips an arm under De Wolfe chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Walker has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Walker is squeezing on De Wolfe like an anaconda would it's prey. De Wolfe fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Paul Walker!
