Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Leonard Hoyt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcelo Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leonard Hoyt has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ross ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hoyt moves away.

Hoyt misses with a takedown attempt - Ross sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Ross throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hoyt.

Hoyt drops back, looking for a kneebar! Ross looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Ross looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Ross!
The referee asks Ross politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Ross prefers to stall for the moment though.
Hoyt regains half guard, as Ross was trying to land strikes.
