Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Andy Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christian Holtz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andy Kane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Christian Holtz! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Holtz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Holtz scores with a jab to the head.
Holtz fails with the takedown. Kane shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Holtz counters with a one-two to the body. Kane with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Holtz to score with a decent uppercut. Holtz is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Nice cross by Holtz. Kane doesn't succeed with the takedown and Holtz counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Holtz pulls guard successfully.
Kane postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Holtz is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kane, into his guard. Holtz stopping the sweep attempt from Kane.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kane is looking for a triangle but Holtz pushes his legs off easily.

Holtz seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kane keeping moving, preventing Holtz from controlling successfully. Holtz's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Kane trying to control the position.
Holtz won't allow Kane to sweep him here. Holtz trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Holtz wants to control from the top but Kane keeps moving.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Holtz cracks a nice hook into Kane's ribs. Holtz looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kane is fending him off so far but Holtz persists. Nope, Kane circles away and we're back to standing. Holtz tries to close the distance and clinch but Kane swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Kane tries for a takedown but Holtz circles away easily enabling Holtz to counter with a crisp jab. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andy Kane. That's going to take a lot out of him. Holtz scores with a nice strike.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Holtz throws a hook to the side of Kane's head but Kane sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Holtz tries to clinch up. A punch combination from Holtz misses. Holtz has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Kane shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Holtz manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Holtz wants to sweep but no luck. Kane drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Holtz dives on top into guard. Holtz decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Kane takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Kane is breathing heavily. Holtz wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Holtz bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kane's head. Kane with a poor takedown and Holtz counters with a nice uppercut. Holtz tries to clinch up. Holtz lands with a nice combination. Kane backs away looking to recover.
Kane is rocked!
It looks like Andy Kane has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Holtz fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kane looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Oh Kane is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Crack! Holtz connects with the perfect overhand right and Kane falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Holtz!
