Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Reagel Johehanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Gooch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Steven Brown and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johehanson waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Gooch.
Johehanson throws a hook but Gooch avoids it easily.
Gooch darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Gooch missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Gooch throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Gooch is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Johehanson!
Johehanson tries to lock up and control but Gooch gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Gooch is landing with some decent strikes but Johehanson is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Gooch fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Johehanson sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Gooch working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Johehanson's thigh. Johehanson counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Gooch is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Johehanson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Johehanson has escaped and now he's on top!

Gooch keeping moving, preventing Johehanson from controlling successfully.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Gooch working a defensive guard here.
Gooch will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Johehanson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Gooch looking for a sweep. Not yet Gooch, not yet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A jab from Johehanson misses.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Gooch fails with a takedown attempt.
Gooch shoots for a takedown but Johehanson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Gooch misses with a looping right.
Johehanson could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Gooch throws a hook but Johehanson blocks it.
Johehanson misses with an uppercut. Gooch saw that one coming.
Gooch throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Johehanson's waist but Johehanson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gooch off to one side.
Reagel Johehanson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Gooch.
Gooch looks gassed!
Gooch shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Johehanson defends it nicely.
Gooch looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon Gooch dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Johehanson throws a looping overhand right but Gooch ducks down to avoid it.
Gooch changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Johehanson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Johehanson sneaks back into half guard.
Gooch thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Johehanson to regain full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Johehanson wants to sweep but no luck.
Gooch stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Johehanson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Gooch trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gooch trying to control the position from guard on top but Johehanson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Gooch is breathing heavily.
Gooch looking to sit in guard and control but Johehanson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Johehanson pushing down on Gooch's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Johehanson wants to pass the guard but Gooch is defending well.
Johehanson is looking for a kimura but Gooch is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Johehanson to get the leverage.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Johehanson is working for a submission of some sort.
Gooch looking for submissions off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gooch pushes Johehanson off, looking to escape but Johehanson dives into side control. He's locked up a kimura now - that was fast! He's cranking on it and Gooch is forced to tap! The fight is over!
