The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Sergei Dronov and Valeri Chadov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrov throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

It looks like Lylan Mitchikin has been cut.
Petrov swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Petrov throws a nice head kick!
Mitchikin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Petrov sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mitchikin somewhat.
Mitchikin shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Petrov but Petrov pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Petrov lands a nice leg kick that just misses Mitchikin's sensitive parts.
Petrov looks to land a combination. Mitchikin sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mitchikin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Petrov fails to land with a series of punches.
Petrov fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mitchikin.
Mitchikin is breathing heavily.

Petrov lands a left and a right that send Mitchikin crashing to the mat, dazed. Petrov thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Petrov drops Mitchikin with a beautiful combination! Mitchikin stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Petrov is looking for the KO!

Mitchikin is rocked!

Artem Petrov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Petrov tries a head kick but it misses.
Petrov throws a quick inside leg kick.
Petrov throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Mitchikin colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Petrov as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Mitchikin is left battered and dazed whilst Petrov and his camp cheer!
