Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Whos Now (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scottie Ivanof (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Whos Now! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Scottie Ivanof! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ivanof looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Ivanof fails to land the takedown. Ivanof fails with the takedown. Whos Now has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Scottie Ivanof. Now looks to throw the jab but Ivanof is out of range. Ivanof shoots in and drives through. Now sprawls well. Horrible takedown by Ivanof or perhaps it was just good defense by Now which made him look bad. Ivanof looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Now is fending him off so far but Ivanof persists. Nope, Now circles away and we're back to standing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Now has taken the fight to the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round. Now has Ivanof pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Ivanof manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Ivanof gets underhooks to prevent Now's takedown attempt.
Ivanof working some nice short punches in the clinch. Now breaks the clinch.
Ivanof tries for a takedown but Now sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. A clash of legs there as Ivanof blocks the low kick. Ivanof circles away from the clinch attempt.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ivanof. Ivanof looks gassed! Ivanof fails with a takedown attempt. Now defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ivanof. Ivanof gets caught flat footed, as Now shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ivanof utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Now thows a big elbow that misses. Ivanof working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Now. Now is looking to work some ground and pound but Ivanof has wrist control. Now really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Now throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ivanof works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Now wanted to stand there but Ivanof had control of the position. Now gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Now gets the takedown into side control. Ivanof avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Now throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Ivanof sneaks out the side door and pushes Now away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Scottie Ivanof seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ivanof tries for a takedown but Now circles away easily and Now counters with a straight right hand. Ivanof takes a jab right on the kisser.
Ivanof dodges the punch combination from Now.
Now throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ivanof's waist but Ivanof gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Now off to one side.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ivanof has his takedown stuffed and Now counters with a big head kick but Ivanof shrugs it off. Now displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ivanof. Ivanof will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Now slaps away a takedown attempt from Ivanof, before circling back to the center of the mat. Ivanof shoots in looking for a takedown. Now tries to sprawl out of it but Ivanof keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Now manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Whos Now dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ivanof is defended easily by Now. Ivanof gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Now counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Ivanof keeping full guard, as Now tries to pass. Now throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Now throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ivanof works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Now trying to control but Ivanof is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Now looking to pass the guard. Ivanof avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Now wants to get up but he can't break Ivanof's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Now throws and elbow that misses. Ivanof uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Now's guard. Nice move by Ivanof! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Ivanof with a flurry of punches that miss.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Ivanof with a lazy takedown attempt so Now counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Whos Now has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Scottie Ivanof.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Now looking to sit in guard and control but Ivanof gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Now not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Ivanof postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Ivanof stops Now from standing up. Ivanof with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Ivanof slaps away a takedown attempt from Now, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Ivanof has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Now is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Ivanof goes for a takedown in the clinch but Now prevents it.
Now is pressed up against the cage. Ivanof has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Now down to the mat. Now avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Now looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Ivanof tries for a takedown but Now circles away easily and Now counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Now. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Now trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Now drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ivanof dives on top into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Now has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Now tries to score a body lock takedown but Ivanof shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Ivanof changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Now fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Ivanof throwing strikes from guard but Now blocks nicely. Now looking to control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ivanof accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Ivanof with a lazy takedown attempt and Now counters with a two punch combo. Ivanof shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Now counters with a single leg into guard. Ivanof didn't expect that. Now tries to stand but Ivanof is controlling from the bottom. Now in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Now throws and elbow that misses. Ivanof uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Now's guard. Nice move by Ivanof! Now trying to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ivanof works over Now with some ground and pound from guard. Ivanof won't allow Now to sweep him here. Now has momentary wrist control but Ivanof slips an elbow through the middle. Ivanof working some strikes from top position. Now wants to sweep here but Ivanof controlling him for the moment. Ivanof must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Ivanof lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Ivanof's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Ivanof postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Now wants to sweep here but Ivanof controlling him for the moment. Now is trying to keep Ivanof in close.
Whos Now is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Ivanof distracts Now with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Now throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Ivanof tries for a takedown but Now circles away easily and Now counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Now leaves Ivanof with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Now has his takedown stuffed and Ivanof counters with a single leg into guard. Now didn't expect that. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ivanof won't allow Now to get back to his feet. Ivanof landing with the ground and pound. Scottie Ivanof has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ivanof working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Whos Now. Well Now has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
