Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, The Champion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 3 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bhody Guthrie!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Viktor Lagutenko and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guthrie keeps the fight on the outside.
Guthrie looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Guthrie takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Champion scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Bhody Guthrie has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Champion closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Guthrie gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Champion.
Champion drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Champion's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Champion tries a head kick but it misses.
Champion has Guthrie up against the cage in a clinch.
Champion jumps guard and drags Guthrie to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Champion is adopting a defensive guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Guthrie pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Champion is keeping the position for now.

Champion is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Guthrie is controlling him.
Guthrie working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Champion has Guthrie pulled in close to control his posture.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Champion is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Champion looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Champion is working hard here to advance position.
Guthrie trying to control the position from guard on top but Champion is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Guthrie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Champion swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Champion pulls Guthrie in to control the position.
Guthrie drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Champion manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Guthrie has Champion in his guard.
Guthrie can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Champion controls the pace.
Champion trying to control the position from guard on top but Guthrie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Champion is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Champion drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Champion jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Bhody Guthrie's cut.
That's time! Champion's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Champion moves into range and clinches up with Guthrie.
Guthrie jumps guard but Champion stands there with Guthrie around his waist. Guthrie gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Champion tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Guthrie throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Champion blocks it with crossed arms.
Champion manages to break the clinch.
Champion gets the takedown into side control.
Champion in side control lands a decent elbow.
Champion is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Guthrie is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Champion knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Guthrie on the ground.
Guthrie is trying to control Champion's posture but Champion avoids it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Champion scoring with punches and elbows.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Guthrie is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Champion is controlling him well.
Champion connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Guthrie some visible discomfort.
Guthrie is looking to reverse the position.
Champion stands up and beckons Guthrie to his feet.
Guthrie fails with the takedown
and Champion counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Champion's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Champion trying to stand up but can't free himself from Guthrie's guard.
Champion in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Champion is posturing up here but Guthrie has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Champion tries to roll out but it's too tight and Champion has to tap! Slick submission there by Guthrie!
