Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gomer Simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven Ter Borg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ter Borg comes into a darkened arena with his song building. unleash the beast kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paulsen Ambrosius and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ter Borg gets a takedown into half guard.

Ter Borg seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Simpson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Simpson could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Simpson tries to get to full guard but Ter Borg has control of the leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Simpson wants to control but Ter Borg is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Simpson keeping hold of Ter Borg's head, controlling as best he can.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Ter Borg stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Simpson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Ter Borg is refusing to be controlled, as Simpson sits in half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Ter Borg is looking to control Simpson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ter Borg avoid being mounted?
Simpson is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Simpson wants to pass the guard but Ter Borg is defending well.

Ter Borg misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Simpson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ter Borg to the mat! Ter Borg manages to get full guard.
Simpson passes Ter Borg's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Simpson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ter Borg is just riding it out for now. Simpson eventually gives up the hold.
Simpson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ter Borg does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Ter Borg looking for submissions off his back.
Simpson uses his free foot to push down on Ter Borg's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Ter Borg.
Ter Borg is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Simpson has taken his back!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Simpson has his arm under Ter Borg's chin here. Game over son! Simpson squeezes tightly and Ter Borg is forced to tap out!
