Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean Montillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jean Montillo! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Montillo fails with the takedown. Montillo on the wrong end of a nice hook. Montillo fails with a takedown attempt. Montillo should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Montillo takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Jones smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Jones lands a nice shot to the body.

Jones's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Jones duly obliges. Montillo closes the distance and clinches up with Jones, looking for a takedown. Montillo pushes Jones against the cage but Jones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Jimmy Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's two minutes gone in the round. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Montillo is defended easily by Jones. Jimmy Jones is winning the standup battle so far. Montillo is breathing heavily. Jones punishes Montillo's body with a nice straight punch. Montillo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Jones scores with a jab to the jaw. Montillo has a takedown stuffed. Jones throws a right and a left that Montillo avoids nicely. Jones displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Montillo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Montillo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jones lands with a hook. Montillo tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Montillo takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Montillo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jones pinned against the cage. Jones gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Jones stuffs the takedown attempt from Montillo. Montillo gets slowly back to his feet. Montillo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Montillo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jones with a body punch. A glancing blow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jones throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Montillo. Montillo looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Jones scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Montillo drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Montillo misses with a takedown attempt - Jones sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Montillo walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Jean Montillo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jones fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Jones scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Jones scores with a shot to the body.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Montillo might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Jones has got the better of the exchanges.

Jones lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Jones punishes Montillo's body with a nice straight punch. Jones is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Montillo can do to turn this around? Montillo takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jones connects with a crisp jab. Montillo shoots in for a double leg but Jones sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jones dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Jones jabs at Montillo's body.
And that's the end of the fight! Jimmy Jones showed his dominance in that final round. Well Jones has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
