The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dude.
Jackson slaps away a takedown attempt from Dude, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Dude shoots in but Jackson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dee Dude. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jackson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Dude tries to get to full guard but Jackson has control of the leg.
Jackson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dude does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Jackson counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Jackson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Dude wants to improve his position but Jackson is controlling well.

Dude's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Dude is trying to control the action in half guard but Jackson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Jackson pushes Dude off looking to stand but Dude dives back in and keeps control.
Dude stalling away here and it's allowed Jackson to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Jackson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dude. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dude drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Dude seems to have locked his on tight now - Jackson screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Dude, as he picks up the win!
