The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farmer Dude stuffs the takedown.
Farmer Dude connects with a body shot.
Magalhaes shoots in for a takedown but Farmer Dude shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Farmer Dude scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Magalhaes doesn't seem bothered though.
Magalhaes is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Farmer Dude feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Magalhaes sprawling to the canvas! Magalhaes rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Farmer Dude finish him?!
It looks like Vinny Magalhaes has been cut.
Farmer Dude darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Magalhaes's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Farmer Dude before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rice Farmer Dude!
