The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Dean Styles and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Jones closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ramirez circles away.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Jones avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ramirez tries to clinch but Jones moves out of range.
Jones shoots in for a takedown but Ramirez shows good takedown defense.

Sam Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

and Ramirez makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Jones really felt that one!

Jones shoots in and drives through. Ramirez sprawls well.

Ramirez shoots for a double leg takedown but Jones sprawls well. He's pushed Ramirez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

and Ramirez counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Jones is lucky that one didn't land flush.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Jones's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Jones walks forward, straight into a front kick from Ramirez.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Rocco Ramirez.
I think Ramirez has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
