Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Damon Pierce!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gravy Train!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Steve Erwin and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pierce is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Damon Pierce seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Train defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pierce.

Pierce is looking to regain half guard here but Train keeps moving and retains side control.

Train stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Pierce decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Pierce escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Train gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

and Pierce counters with a stiff right hand.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Train gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Pierce drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Pierce as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Train screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Pierce! Nice submission victory there!
