Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Terry Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Walker.
Cruz fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Walker is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Cruz's half guard.
Walker is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Cruz defends it well.
Walker seems to be working for a kimura but Cruz defends the submission attempt.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Walker lands a heavy elbow.
Walker is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Cruz to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Cruz shrugs it off.
Walker is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Cruz can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Walker is really struggling to control Cruz but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Walker jumps guard and drags Cruz to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Walker bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Cruz's guard.

Walker drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Walker jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Walker, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
