Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Boyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akimbo Jabbar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Boyle might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Superman Theme. Akimbo Jabbar has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

6 - 2 - 1, fighting out of New York, Dave Boyle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Akimbo Jabbar!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Franklyn Lucas and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jabbar shoots in for a double leg but Boyle sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Boyle blocks a head kick by Jabbar.
Boyle fails to land with a series of punches.
Jabbar takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Boyle misses with a few strikes there.
Jabbar misses with a takedown attempt - Boyle sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Jabbar misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Boyle.
Jabbar misses with a series of wild punches.
Boyle misses with a double jab.
Jabbar tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Boyle swivels and escapes.
Dave Boyle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Akimbo Jabbar.
Boyle throws out a powerful jab.
Boyle lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Jabbar sprawling to the canvas. Boyle follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Jabbar hang on?
It looks like Akimbo Jabbar has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jabbar trying to control but Boyle postures up.
Boyle is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Jabbar is looking to improve his position.

Boyle drops an elbow to the side of Jabbar's head.
Boyle is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jabbar is just riding it out for now. Boyle eventually gives up the hold.
Nice strikes from Boyle there.
Jabbar gets back to full guard.
Jabbar is looking to stand up but Boyle isn't so interested in that idea.
Boyle drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Boyle jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jabbar working for a triangle but Boyle defends it easily.
Boyle with a flurry of punches that miss.
Jabbar trying to keep a closed guard but Boyle is proving a slippery customer.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Boyle wants to pass the guard but Jabbar is keeping the position.
Jabbar has an active guard here but Boyle has managed to pass into half guard.

Boyle seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jabbar wants to get back to his feet.
Boyle is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jabbar sees it coming and defends easily.
Boyle seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Boyle is working for a submission of some sort.
Jabbar is pressing down on Boyle's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Boyle has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Jabbar to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Boyle is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Jabbar pulls down on the head and he's put Boyle to sleep! This one is all over!
