Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Xavier Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buck Nutt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Armstrong's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, "Bullet Soul" Switchfoot. Nutt is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: seek n destroy. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Xavier Armstrong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Buck Nutt!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Steve Erwin and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armstrong feints and then cracks Nutt's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Nutt down.
A head kick from Armstrong lands but Nutt takes it in his stride.
Armstrong clinches up with Nutt and pushes him back against the cage.
Armstrong's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Armstrong throws a leg kick which misses Nutt's front leg but catches the back leg as Nutt tries to avoid it.
Nutt fails to land the takedown.
Armstrong tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A chopping leg kick lands by Armstrong.
Xavier Armstrong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Armstrong tries to clinch but Nutt is having none of it.

Armstrong lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nutt circles away quickly and effectively.

Nutt feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
