The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Glass and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dexter looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Dexter looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Dexter wants to work for an arm triangle but Gracielo is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Gracielo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Gracielo looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Dexter is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Gracielo sees it coming and defends easily.
Dexter is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Gracielo has managed to free his arm - good work.
Dexter wants to work for an arm triangle but Gracielo is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Dexter is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gracielo is just riding it out for now. Dexter eventually gives up the hold.

Gracielo shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Gracielo was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Gracielo lands a heavy elbow.
Gracielo is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Dexter can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Dexter bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Dexter wants to stand but Gracielo has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Gracielo has his foot on Dexter's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dexter works his way back into a safe position though.

Gracielo has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Dexter. Oh but Gracielo has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Dexter goes limp - he's gone! Gracielo jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
