Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Korey Kash! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Theo Gillberg! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Reed Andrews and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kash looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Gillberg is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Gillberg looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kash is one step ahead there. Gillberg looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Kash lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Kash controlling from the top position. Gillberg working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kash doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kash manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Kash knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gillberg on the ground. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gillberg looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kash is one step ahead there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gillberg has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kash can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Kash pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gillberg is keeping the position for now.

Kash wants to stand but Gillberg is controlling his posture from full guard. Kash seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Kash wants to control from the top but Gillberg keeps moving. Kash lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Gillberg has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Kash doesn't defend quickly enough and Gillberg has managed to lock this one up! Can Kash escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Gillberg on a fantastic submission victory.
