Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nathaniel Clegg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wilson Waters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clegg comes to the cage accompanied by Il mercenario L'arena by Ennio Morricone. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Nathaniel Clegg! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Wilson Waters! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Chris Edwards and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Waters shoots in for a takedown but Clegg shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Clegg is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Waters. Nice defenses there by Waters. Clegg lands a head shot. Waters dives in and grabs Clegg's left leg, looking for a takedown. Clegg pushes down on Waters's head and hops out. Waters staying out of range there. A cross from Clegg lands. Waters staying out of range there. Waters fails with the takedown. Nathaniel Clegg has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wilson Waters. Waters looks to land a left hand but Clegg moved out of range nicely. Clegg looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Clegg throws a nice looking combination but Waters bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clegg lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Waters backs up against the cage.
Nathaniel Clegg is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Waters shoots in but no luck this time. Clegg missing with a left hand there. Waters was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Clegg misses with a hook. Clegg throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Clegg throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Clegg thows a left - swing and a miss! Clegg connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Waters momentarily.
Waters moves out of range as Clegg strikes. Nathaniel Clegg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Waters keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Clegg. Clegg bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Clegg will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Clegg stuffs the takedown attempt from Waters. Waters gets slowly back to his feet. Clegg throws a big shot that misses. Waters drives through with a takedown into guard. Waters throwing strikes but missing. Waters wants to pass the guard but Clegg is keeping the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Clegg seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Waters has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Clegg has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Clegg is trying to keep Waters in close.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Clegg loads up on a big right hand but Waters slips the punch. Clegg throws a jab when Waters was well out of range. Waters closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Clegg struggling a bit here. Waters lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Waters looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Clegg is avoiding damage well.

Clegg on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Clegg tries to get out of the position. Clegg is trying to get back to half guard. Waters misses with the ground and pound. Waters is trying to get an arm triangle but Clegg is defending well. Clegg wants to get back to his feet.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Nice defenses there by Waters. Waters rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Clegg moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Clegg throws an overhand right that lands on Waters's shoulder, as Waters tries to avoid the shot. Clegg is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Clegg thuds a left hand into Waters's body. Waters shoots in and drives through. Clegg sprawls well. Waters ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Clegg moves away. Clegg misses with a straight right. Waters takes a swing at Clegg's ribcage but misses. Clegg throws a jab but it's blocked by Waters. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Waters shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Waters prevents Clegg from improving his position. Clegg is trying to stand.
Waters wants to free his trapped foot but Clegg is holding on for dear life with his legs. Clegg is doing well to control the position and prevent Waters from advancing to side control. Waters throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Clegg works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Clegg is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Waters in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Waters stands and throws Clegg's legs to the side, diving into side control. You can see the frustration on Clegg's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Waters scoring with punches and elbows. Waters prevents Clegg from escaping the position. Waters is working Clegg over with some ground and pound from side control. Waters is chipping away with strikes.
Clegg wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Clegg is working to avoid the ground and pound but Waters connects with a decent elbow. Waters looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Clegg is avoiding damage well.
Waters lands a few punches from side control. Clegg tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Waters wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Waters landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Clegg is trying to buck Waters off. Clegg takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Waters in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Clegg wants to control but Waters postures up. Waters landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Waters tries to move to mount but Clegg blocks the move with his legs. Waters thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Clegg is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Waters asserts his dominance and retains side control. Waters landing a few strikes. Waters tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Clegg wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Clegg tries to improve position but can't. Waters cracks Clegg with a big elbow. Waters lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Clegg down.
Clegg is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Waters off and has taken his back! Waters looking very determined here, making life difficult for Clegg.
Clegg is trying to stick to Waters's back but Waters is turning into Clegg. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Clegg's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Waters. Waters is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wilson Waters showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Clegg throws out a loose jab but Waters uses good head movement to avoid it. Waters is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Wilson Waters is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Waters thows a body shot but no joy. No luck for Waters with that takedown attempt. Clegg defending well as Waters loads up on a big left hand. Waters staying out of range there. Horrible takedown by Waters or perhaps it was just good defense by Clegg which made him look bad. Nathaniel Clegg has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wilson Waters. A swing and a miss from Clegg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Waters is defended easily by Clegg. Waters changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Clegg tries to avoid it but Waters manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Clegg to the ground. Clegg escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Clegg throws a hook but Waters blocks it. Clegg misses with a hook. Waters ducked under it nicely. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Waters shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Clegg fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Waters fails with a takedown attempt.
And that's the end of the fight! Wilson Waters comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Waters has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
