Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and TJ Gelicho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike Jones has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, TJ Gelicho! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones avoids the head kick by Gelicho.
Gelicho rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jones moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Gelicho fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Gelicho throws a series of punches but Jones moves out of range. Gelicho misses with a takedown attempt - Jones sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Jones scores with a kick to the body.
Gelicho fails with a takedown attempt. Gelicho looks gassed! Excellent takedown into side control there by Jones. Gelicho on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Gelicho is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Jones has just dragged him back down to the mat. Jones decides to take the fight back to the feet. Gelicho tries to clinch but Jones moves out of range. Some wild striking there from Gelicho.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Gelicho's half guard. Jones is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gelicho is trying to stand back up but Jones is controlling him
Gelicho is staying active underneath Jones, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Gelicho is trying to stand up here but Jones is controlling him well. Jones perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Jones prevents Gelicho from standing back up.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Jones in particular looking to stall.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. The fight stays on the outside here - Gelicho looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones blocks a head kick by Gelicho.
Gelicho has his takedown stuffed and Jones counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Mike Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of TJ Gelicho. Jones keeps control of Gelicho as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Gelicho wants to break the clinch but can't.
Gelicho taking a breather. Jones is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Gelicho gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Gelicho tries to pull guard but Jones holds him up against the cage and eventually Gelicho drops back down to his feet.

Gelicho throws an elbow but it misses.

Jones breaks from the clinch.
Gelicho with a poor takedown and Jones counters with a nice double leg into side control. Gelicho won't be happy with that. Gelicho wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones decides to stand up, so the ref orders Gelicho to his feet. Gelicho slaps away a takedown attempt from Jones, before circling back to the center of the mat. Gelicho fails with the takedown and Jones counters with a takedown into side control. Gelicho is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Jones wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gelicho keeps working. Jones in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Gelicho struggling a bit here. Jones decides to stand back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gelicho gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Jones counters with a shoot takedown. Gelicho fights it but they end up in guard. Jones gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Gelicho connects with a high kick. Gelicho looks to clinch and Jones decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Gelicho's guard. Gelicho looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Gelicho wants to sweep but no luck. Jones is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jones accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Gelicho is proving hard to escape from. Gelicho wants to stand up but Jones is controlling him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Jones dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Gelicho throws a leg kick and Jones counters with a nice double leg into guard. Jones trying to control but Gelicho is working from the bottom. Gelicho wants to sweep here but Jones controlling him for the moment. Gelicho wants to stand and escape but Jones is having none of it. Gelicho has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Jones should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Gelicho has tightened it up now! Jones should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). TJ Gelicho!
