Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Punch Bag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DeShawn Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bag comes to the cage accompanied by back on my feet again. Brown is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: I'll Whip Ya Head Boy . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Punch Bag! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, DeShawn Brown! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bag rushes Brown and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Brown fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Bag turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Bag manages to end up in side control. Brown wants to control but Bag postures up. Brown is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Bag asserts his dominance and retains side control. Brown is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Brown can't do much from the bottom here. Bag is putting a hurting on Brown here, landing some big shots from side control. Bag trying to control the action but Brown is working from the bottom. Bag takes a little break here. Brown wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Bag working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bag tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Brown gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Bag is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Bag is breathing heavily. Brown is looking to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Brown is not content to let Bag control the position. Brown is trying to maintain the position but Bag is very close to passing his half guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Brown fails to land the takedown. Bag leaves Brown with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Punch Bag has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of DeShawn Brown.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bag stuffs the takedown. Bag shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Brown on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Bag keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Bag has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Bag works his way into full mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bag landing strikes, looking to finish! Bag is landing with some decent strikes but Brown is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Bag has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Brown's face.
Brown wants to control but Bag is having none of it. Bag controlling the position easily from mount. Bag's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Punch Bag dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Bag shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Brown is trying to defend but Bag finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Brown trying to control here.
Bag passes to side control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bag controlling from side mount. Bag is putting a hurting on Brown here, landing some big shots from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Bag is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Brown knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Brown tries to improve position but can't. Bag controls the position. Bag scoring with punches and elbows.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Check out the look on Bag's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Brown is looking for a sweep. Bag working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bag wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Brown, who protects the arm well. Bag controlling the position. Bag landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bag lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Bag scores with a couple of short elbows. Bag working away. Bag is looking to take a break and control but Brown is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Bag scoring with punches from side control. Brown gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Brown has a hand on Bag's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Bag takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Brown tries to reverse the position but Bag maintains control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Bag sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Bag looking to control but Brown is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Brown in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Bag tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bag lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Brown hang on? Brown's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Brown is squirming around, avoiding Bag's attempts to control the action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Punch Bag dominated that second round. That's time! Bag's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Bag closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Brown did well to prevent Bag getting side control. Brown is trying to stand back up but Bag is controlling him
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Brown manages to get to full guard.
Bag chips away with some ground and pound. Bag trying to control but Brown is working from the bottom. Punch Bag overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Brown trying to keep a closed guard but Bag is proving a slippery customer.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bag stays in close to Brown's body and controls the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown wants to sweep here but Bag controlling him for the moment. Brown is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Brown is trying to keep Bag in close.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Brown shoots and misses and Bag counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Bag slows the pace down in half guard. Bag takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bag slows the pace down in half guard. Brown is trying to stand up here but Bag is controlling him well. Bag takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Brown wants to stand back up but Bag manages to pass into side control.
DeShawn Brown has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bag controls the position from side control. Bag has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brown is looking to reverse the position. Bag just content to control the position. Bag decides to stand back up. Bag gets a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bag wants the takedown. Brown is fighting it off but Bag persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Brown's guard against the cage. Bag is in close to Brown's body, working some short punches and elbows. Brown throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Bag landing with the ground and pound. Bag prevents Brown from getting back to his feet. Brown trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Bag keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Brown's head. Brown looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Bag has picked Brown up and slammed him! Brown can't keep hold of the triangle and Bag manages to pass to side control! Bag slows the pace down.
And that's the end of the fight! Punch Bag showed his dominance in that final round. Well Bag has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
