Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brando Braganza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brando Braganza has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brando Braganza! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jim Storm! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, John Mangel and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Braganza wants to clinch. Braganza looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Storm shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Storm controlling the pace for now. Storm thowing shots but they're missing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Storm punching from mount but Braganza doing a good job of avoiding damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Storm seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Braganza is holding on tight.
Braganza can't escape the position.

Poor strikes thrown by Storm there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Storm landing strikes from the mount. Storm sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Storm tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Storm working the ground and pound effectively.
Braganza is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Storm is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Braganza has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Storm gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! A combination from Storm does no damage. Storm scores a takedown into full mount! Storm with shots to the head and body - Braganza looks very uncomfortable down there. Braganza is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Storm controlling from mount. Storm lands a big shot there that rocks Braganza but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Storm shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Braganza's guard. Storm thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Storm is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Storm pushing down on Braganza's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Storm slows the pace down in half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Storm's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Storm frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Storm punishing his opponent with strikes. Storm controlling the position easily from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Storm is landing with some decent strikes but Braganza is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Storm controlling the position easily from mount. Storm misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Storm tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Braganza swivels and escapes. Storm looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Storm gets to his feet - Braganza follows without any prompting. Storm pushes Braganza up against the cage in a clinch. Storm changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Braganza fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Storm shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Braganza wants to get back to full guard but Storm has passed into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Storm sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Storm unloading with bombs! Jim Storm has got the better of the ground game so far. Storm tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Storm stands up from mount. Strange move. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jim Storm showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Braganza moves out of range of the body kick from Storm.
Storm is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Braganza's half guard. Storm content to control rather than advance. Storm throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Storm is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Storm moves nicely into side control. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Storm stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Storm instigates a clinch. Storm jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Braganza walks away with a smile on his face. Storm gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Storm looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Storm missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Braganza wants to improve his position but Storm is controlling well.
Braganza keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Storm thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Braganza's head. Storm moves nicely into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Storm slows the pace down. Storm tries for a kimura but Braganza is defending well. Storm is working to tighten is grip on Braganza's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Braganza has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Storm is really squeezing tight and eventually Braganza passes out! Storm breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
