Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Primo Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and UMM DA (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Thiago Cunha and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Gracie gets the takedown into side control.
DA wants to control but Gracie postures up.
DA tries to improve position but can't.
Gracie tries for a kimura but DA is defending well.
DA stops Gracie from passing to mount.
Gracie tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gracie has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Gracie takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

and Gracie counters with a shoot takedown. DA fights it but they end up in guard.

DA lands a nice hook to Gracie's body. Gracie takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

DA is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Gracie has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can DA defend it? Gracie steps over the head and cranks it - DA is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Gracie!
