Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cao Yun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Funyun Sandwich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yun scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Sandwich throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Yun's waist but Yun gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sandwich off to one side.

Sandwich looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Yun!

Sandwich is standing up, even though he is in mount.

Yun knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sandwich on the ground.

Sandwich is looking to clinch but Yun is avoiding it.

Yun throws a head kick that misses.
Yun wants to clinch up but Sandwich keeps it at a distance.
Sandwich tries to close the distance and clinch but Yun swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sandwich fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Cao Yun has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Funyun Sandwich.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Sandwich.
Sandwich shoots in and drives through. Yun sprawls well.

Sandwich shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sandwich showed some decent athleticism there.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Yun.
Yun moves in looking to clinch but Sandwich pushes him off.
Yun shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Yun shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sandwich defends it nicely.
Sandwich throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Yun shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sandwich as he avoids it easily.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Yun clinches up against the cage.
Sandwich takes an elbow to the temple.
Yun wants to break the clinch but can't.
Yun managing to block the knees to the body from Sandwich.

Yun breaks the clinch.
Horrible takedown by Sandwich or perhaps it was just good defense by Yun which made him look bad.
Sandwich throws a sloppy head kick and Yun moves out of range easily.
Yun fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Sandwich.

Sandwich wants to control but Yun is keeping him busy.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Yun lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Sandwich closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Sandwich is breathing heavily.
Yun is looking to improve his position.
Sandwich wants to control but Yun is keeping him busy.
Sandwich performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

Sandwich throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Yun wants to get back to full guard but Sandwich has mounted him!

Sandwich is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Yun can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Yun is desperately trying to improve his position but Sandwich has a good base and remains in mount.
Yun might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Yun instigates a clinch.
Yun is pressed up against the cage. Sandwich has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Yun down to the mat. Yun avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Sandwich prevents a takedown attempt there.

Sandwich gets control of Yun's arms and successfully pulls guard. Sandwich will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Sandwich wants to sweep but no luck.

Sandwich has his foot on Yun's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Yun works his way back into a safe position though.
Yun lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Yun is looking to work some ground and pound but Sandwich has wrist control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Yun tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Sandwich drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Yun manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Sandwich has Yun in his guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Sandwich dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Yun. That did some damage!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
A head kick misses from Yun.
Yun is looking to clinch but Sandwich is avoiding it.

Sandwich moves into range and clinches up with Yun.
Sandwich just leaning against Yun, taking a breather.
Sandwich tries to stall but Yun uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Sandwich has Yun pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Yun manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Cao Yun has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Funyun Sandwich.
Sandwich throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Yun blocks it with crossed arms.
Sandwich has Yun pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Yun manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Yun's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Sandwich counters with a good, hard body kick but Yun shrugs it off.
Cao Yun has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Funyun Sandwich is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
