Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kareem Amuy Jabbar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James Jones looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, James Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kareem Amuy Jabbar! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Valeri Chadov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jabbar shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jones's guard. Jabbar must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Jones looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Jabbar in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Jabbar is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Jones will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Jabbar clinches with his opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round. Jabbar tries to circle away but Jones has him pinned against the ropes. The fighters are pressed against the ropes, as the pace of the fight slows. A frustrated look appears on Jabbar's face as he tries to break the clinch. Jabbar jumps into guard, dragging Jones to the mat.
Jones postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Jones trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Jabbar holds on and takes a little breather. Jabbar manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jones manages to get himself to full guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Jabbar looking to pass the guard. Jabbar slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Jabbar keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Jones's head. Jones keeping moving, preventing Jabbar from controlling successfully. Jabbar content to stall in guard here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jabbar slips nicely into half guard. Jabbar not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Jabbar missing with the ground and pound from half guard. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Jones avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Jabbar. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jones takes one on the button. The fighters circle momentarily. Jabbar darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Jabbar scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Jabbar shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Jabbar controlling from mount. Jabbar wants to finish this one by submission but Jones is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Jabbar. Jabbar with good strikes from the mount here! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kareem Amuy Jabbar dominated that round. That's time! Jones's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Jabbar works over Jones's head and body with a nice combination. Jones misses with a takedown and Jabbar connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Jones on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Jabbar lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Jones misses with a takedown and Jabbar counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Jones drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Jabbar shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Jabbar is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Nice strikes from Jabbar there. Jones is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Nice cross by Jabbar. Jabbar tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jones swats him away and circles back towards the center. Jones misses with a takedown attempt and Jabbar counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Jabbar scores with a nice right hand.

Kareem Amuy Jabbar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Jones shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Jabbar cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jabbar scores with a punch to the head. Jabbar dips to his left and cracks Jones with an uppercut! Jabbar lands a jab to Jones's midsection. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jabbar tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jones swats him away and circles back towards the center. James Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jabbar keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Jones doesn't succeed with the takedown and Jabbar counters with a takedown into side control.
And that's the end of the fight! Kareem Amuy Jabbar comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Jabbar has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
