Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ihto Feliciano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and CB Dollaway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ihto Feliciano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, CB Dollaway!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dollaway shoots for a double leg takedown but Feliciano sprawls well. He's pushed Dollaway's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ihto Feliciano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Dollaway counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Feliciano's guard now.
Feliciano throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Dollaway slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Dollaway shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Feliciano napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The referee asks Dollaway politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Dollaway prefers to stall for the moment though.

Dollaway scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Feliciano to see if he's OK.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Despite being in the dominant position, CB Dollaway just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Feliciano lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Dollaway backs up against the cage.

Dollaway shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Feliciano napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Feliciano is trying to buck Dollaway off.
Feliciano is looking for a sweep.
Dollaway remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Feliciano takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Dollaway remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Let's hope that Dollaway has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Dollaway might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Feliciano kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Feliciano throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Dollaway was covering up waiting for the punch and Feliciano finishes the takedown easily into guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dollaway can do anything to dispel that myth.
