The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kurwidzyndzel shoots for a double leg takedown but Bader sprawls well. He's pushed Kurwidzyndzel's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. A jab lands there for Kurwidzyndzel. Bader shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bader was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Bader tries to control but Kurwidzyndzel wriggling away. Bader with the ground and pound from mount. Bader working the ground and pound effectively.
Kurwidzyndzel is bucking up trying to escape but Bader cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Bader lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Kurwidzyndzel wants to control but Bader is having none of it. Bader landing strikes, looking to finish! This has been an exciting period of action! Bader punching from mount but Kurwidzyndzel doing a good job of avoiding damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kurwidzyndzel wants to control but Bader is having none of it. Bader thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Bader thows a huge punch but Kurwidzyndzel dodges it nicely.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Kurwidzyndzel throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kurwidzyndzel has his takedown stuffed and Bader counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Bader. Bader looks gassed! Bader prevents Kurwidzyndzel from getting back to his feet. Kurwidzyndzel controls Bader momentarily but Bader frees himself. Bader throws a big right hand that misses. Bader trying to control the position from guard on top but Kurwidzyndzel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kurwidzyndzel is trying to keep Bader in close.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kurwidzyndzel throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kurwidzyndzel throws a combination that misses and Bader counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kurwidzyndzel keeping full guard, as Bader tries to pass. Bader in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Kurwidzyndzel stuffs the takedown. Kurwidzyndzel doesn't succeed with the takedown and Bader counters with a left to the body. Kurwidzyndzel has his takedown stuffed and Bader counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Kurwidzyndzel's guard now. Bader working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kurwidzyndzel's head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bader stands up over Kurwidzyndzel, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Kurwidzyndzel keeping moving, preventing Bader from controlling successfully. Leo Bader showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round!

Kurwidzyndzel has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bader is working away from the top position though. Bader sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Kurwidzyndzel defending well though. Bader lands strikes from half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bader connects with a nice short shot to Kurwidzyndzel's temple.

Kurwidzyndzel manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Bader must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kurwidzyndzel has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bader can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Bader slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Kurwidzyndzel trying to keep a closed guard but Bader is proving a slippery customer.

and Bader counters with a shoot takedown. Kurwidzyndzel fights it but they end up in guard. Kurwidzyndzel is trying to control the position but Bader postures up. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bader is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Kurwidzyndzel wants to stand up but Bader is controlling him.
