The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
This misses with a two punch combination.
Fedotov jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A slapping body kick lands there for This.
Fedotov blocks a head kick by This.
Fedotov misses with a jab, cross combination.
Fedotov tries to clinch there but This circles away.
Fedotov misses with a takedown attempt - This sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
This moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Fedotov is breathing heavily.
No luck for This with that takedown attempt.
This fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Fedotov.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
This jabs Fedotov right on the nose. Fedotov blinks but takes it well.
Fedotov throws a poor cross that misses
and This counters with a good low kick that Fedotov was not able to check.
This tries to clinch up.

Fedotov tries to close the distance and clinch up but This swats him away and circles back towards the center.
This throws a nice inside leg kick.

Fedotov chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before This can pounce on him.

The fight stays on the outside here - Fedotov looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
This with a nice cross.

This shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
so Fedotov counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Fedotov pushing down on This's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Fedotov is trying to control the action in half guard but This is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

This is trying to stand back up but Fedotov is controlling him
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Fedotov throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Fedotov could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
This wants to control but Fedotov is keeping busy.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
This feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Fedotov sprawling to the canvas! Fedotov rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can This finish him?!
Oh Fedotov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fedotov fails to land the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Urie Fedotov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
This lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
