Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Petro Petraca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erris Watts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Petro Petraca! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Erris Watts! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Ren Mimura and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Watts closes the distance and clinches. The referee calls for Petraca to work.
Petraca lands a nice elbow.
It looks like Erris Watts has been cut. Watts turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! The referee asks Watts politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Watts prefers to stall for the moment though. Petraca is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Watts is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Despite being in the dominant position, Erris Watts just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Watts misses the shot to the body. Petraca misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Watts.
The fighters circle momentarily. Petraca darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Petraca tries to clinch but Watts moves away and Watts counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Watts is taking a breather. Petraca says something to him but it's hard to make out. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Well, if Watts is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Both fighters working to control the clinch. Watts is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Petraca is defending well for now. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Petraca just misses with a elbow thrown towards Watts's brow. Watts changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Petraca fights it off and pushes away nicely.

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Petraca tries to get out of the position. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Watts in particular looking to stall. Petraca taking some punishment here, with Watts in his half guard. Watts is controlling the pace.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Watts circles away from the clinch attempt and Watts counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Petraca! Watts scores with a couple of good head shots there.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Watts cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The referee warns Petraca that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Watts lands a big shot there that rocks Petraca but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
