Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oppolla Doc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gordon Hood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doc comes to the cage accompanied by Heat - The Jesus and Mary Chain. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Donatello Bradman and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

That was a close round but I would say that Oppolla Doc will probably get the nod.

Horrible takedown by Hood or perhaps it was just good defense by Doc which made him look bad.

Hood shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Doc sprawls well. Doc wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hood gets slowly back to his feet.
No joy there for Doc, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Doc accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
