Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charles carlson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Remy Bonjasky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). carlson comes into the arena with Muse- Stockholm Syndrome blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

9 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Remy Bonjasky! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bonjasky slips a jab and a cross from carlson .
Bonjasky displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from carlson . Bonjasky pulls out of a head kick attempt.
carlson gets a takedown into half guard. Bonjasky wants to get back to his feet. carlson lands with a punch from half guard. Bonjasky wants to get back to his feet.
carlson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bonjasky's head. carlson slips a nice elbow through Bonjasky's hands, connecting with Bonjasky's forehead. carlson is trying to control. Bonjasky wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Bonjasky is trying to stand back up but carlson is controlling him
That's one minute gone in the round. Bonjasky avoiding damage under a succession of punches from carlson . carlson drops an elbow to the side of Bonjasky's head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. carlson uses his free foot to push down on Bonjasky's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Bonjasky. carlson working Bonjasky over with strikes here. Bonjasky is trying to stand up. carlson putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. carlson jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Bonjasky manages to avoid the submission attempt. Bonjasky is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Bonjasky looks gassed! carlson misses with the ground and pound. carlson is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Bonjasky looks calm but he's in trouble here. carlson gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Bonjasky is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! carlson lets go of the hold and Bonjasky can pop his arm back in it's socket.
