Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is AC/DC - Back in Black. Storm has chosen AC/DC - Thunderstruck as his entrance music. Johnny Storm has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Donatello Bradman and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Storm lands a jab to Black's midsection.
Black tries to land a front kick but Storm steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Good shot there by Black.
Black tries to clinch up but Storm circles away and keeps his distance.
Black fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Storm manages to avoid it.
Storm bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Lucas Black seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Black looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Storm will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Storm throws a lazy right hand but Black sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

and Storm counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Black takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Black throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Storm stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Storm lands with a thumping leg kick.
Storm works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Black throws a body kick that misses.

Black avoids the body shot from Storm.
Black ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Storm moves away.
Storm connects with a single shot there.
Storm blocks a jab.
Storm takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Storm has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Storm wants to land a leg kick but Black is out of range.
Black jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Black feints and then cracks Storm's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Storm down.
Storm darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Black blocks a jab.
Black keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Storm.
Black fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Black takes one to the side of the head.

Black misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Johnny Storm is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Storm throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Storm throws a jab when Black was well out of range.
Black moves away from the strike by Storm.
Black fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Storm.

Black shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Storm controls the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Black has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

and Storm counters with a head kick. That will keep Black thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

and Black counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Storm throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Black looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Black uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Storm.

and Storm counters with a nice uppercut.

I would just about give that final round to Johnny Storm.
I think Storm has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
