Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Sam Pirate!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Teppo Joonatan!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joonatan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pirate's waist but Pirate gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Joonatan off to one side.
Joonatan tries a head kick but it misses.
Pirate misses with a takedown
and Joonatan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A combination from Pirate does no damage.
Pirate is breathing heavily.
Pirate throws a head kick that misses
letting Joonatan counter with a right hand.
Joonatan tries to clinch but Pirate is having none of it.
Joonatan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Pirate throws a series of punches but Joonatan avoids them all with ease.
Pirate wants to clinch but Joonatan slips to the side
and Joonatan counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Joonatan throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
It looks like Sam Pirate has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pirate swings widly with a right hand
and Joonatan counters with a good, hard body kick but Pirate shrugs it off.
Pirate misses with a hook. Joonatan ducked under it nicely.
Pirate throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Joonatan counters with a flying knee that drops Pirate! Pirate dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Teppo Joonatan!
