4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, R The ghost! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Saam Ante and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James tries to clinch up. James throws a series of punches but The ghost avoids them all with ease. The ghost is looking to clinch. The ghost clinches with his opponent.
James wants a takedown.
The ghost lands an elbow inside.
It looks like Rick James has been cut. James lands an uppercut. The ghost creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. The ghost looks to throw an elbow but misses. James blocks the elbow strike.
James lands with a left to the head. The ghost pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes. James tries to stall but The ghost uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

James is working The ghost over against the ropes. With the fighters up against the ropes, The ghost throws an elbow but misses. James tries to stall but The ghost uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
A nice glancing elbow lands by The ghost. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. James is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but The ghost is keeping busy. James breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
James drives through with a takedown into guard. The ghost looks gassed! James stands up from guard. Let's bang! James punishes The ghost's body with a nice straight punch.
That's one minute gone in the round. The ghost gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
It looks like R The ghost has been cut. The ghost takes one to the side of the head.
James throws a combination but it was largely blocked by The ghost. James changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. James shoots in for a takedown but The ghost shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. James lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. James throws a nice looking combination but The ghost bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A lazy left from James finds it's target. James with a hook.
The ghost is rocked! James smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. The ghost is still on wobbly legs! Can James finish him? James will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
R The ghost seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. James connects with a stiff jab that staggers The ghost - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Rick James!
