Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Jonathan Paton and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Smith.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Larson doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Smith counters with a shoot takedown. Larson fights it but they end up in guard.
Smith avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Smith passes Larson's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Larson wants to improve his position but Smith is controlling well.
Smith is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Larson is trying to maintain the position but Smith is very close to passing his half guard.

Smith seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Larson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
