Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cameron Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rumpe Nisse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Kahmir - Led Zeppelin. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cameron Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rumpe Nisse! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nisse closes the distance and clinches. Nisse misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Jackson.
Nisse is looking to control Jackson's arms but Jackson gets an underhook and turns him. Now Nisse has his back to the ropes. Nisse missing with knees to the body.
Nisse tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Jackson avoids it. Nisse has Jackson pressed against the ropes, preventing Jackson from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Jackson wants to break the clinch but can't.
Jackson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jackson takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Cameron Jackson has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Nisse keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Jackson blocks a head kick by Nisse.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Nisse but Nisse pushes him off and we're back to square one. Jackson shoots in for a double leg but Nisse sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cameron Jackson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nisse stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nisse wants it to stay on the feet. Jackson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nisse's waist but Nisse gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jackson off to one side. Jackson keeps the fight on the outside.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson has a takedown stuffed. Nisse wants to clinch up but Jackson keeps it at a distance. Nisse moves in looking to clinch but Jackson pushes him off. Nisse closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Nisse manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Nisse tries to land a knee to the head but Jackson blocks with his arms.
A frustrated look appears on Jackson's face as he tries to break the clinch. Nisse breaks the clinch.
Nisse tries to clinch up but Jackson circles away and keeps his distance. Jackson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jackson throwing strikes but Nisse manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nisse trying to control the position but Jackson is working away. Nisse decides to stand back up. Jackson gets the takedown into side control. Jackson landing a few strikes. Jackson throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Nisse works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Nisse keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Nisse looking for submissions from an awkward position here. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nisse regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Jackson. Jackson throws a strike but Nisse rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Nisse throws a big right hand that misses. Jackson wants to get back to his feet but Nisse is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Nisse is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Nisse passes into half guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Nisse wants to control but Jackson is keeping him busy. Nisse looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Nisse throwing shots but Jackson is blocking nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rumpe Nisse dominated that round. The cut man is working on Cameron Jackson's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Nisse doesn't manage to clinch there - Jackson circles away.
Nisse throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jackson. Jackson fails with a takedown attempt. Jackson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Nisse! Poor strikes thrown by Jackson there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Nisse tries to hold on but Jackson postures up. Jackson dominating with strikes here. Jackson thowing shots but they're missing. Nisse tries to hold on but Jackson postures up. Cameron Jackson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Jackson throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.

Jackson misses with a head shot. Nisse uses the momentum to regain guard. Jackson throws a big right hand that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson throws a strike but Nisse rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Nisse postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Nisse missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Jackson keeping moving, preventing Nisse from controlling successfully. Jackson working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Nisse.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Jackson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Jackson shoots for a takedown but Nisse saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cameron Jackson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nisse displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jackson. Nisse's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Nisse duly obliges. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Nisse lands with a slapping head kick.
Cameron Jackson's cut is getting worse. Jackson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nisse sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jackson somewhat. Nisse fails with an attempt to clinch.

A close second round but Rumpe Nisse will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Cameron Jackson's cut. That's time! Jackson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Nisse moves in looking to clinch but Jackson pushes him off. Nisse tries to close the distance and clinch but Jackson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Jackson shoots for a takedown but Nisse saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Jackson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nisse tries to avoid it but Jackson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nisse to the ground. Nisse escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jackson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Nisse manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Nisse escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jackson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Nisse working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Jackson has passed into half guard!
Nisse wants to get back to his feet.
Jackson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nisse on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nisse is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jackson pulls his head out easily. Nisse regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Jackson. Nisse avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Jackson postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Jackson throws a big right hand that misses. Jackson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Jackson throws and elbow that misses. Nisse uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jackson's guard. Nice move by Nisse! Nisse wants to pass the guard but Jackson is keeping the position. Nisse drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Jackson dives on top into guard. Nisse takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Jackson throws and elbow that misses. Nisse uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jackson's guard. Nice move by Nisse!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nisse trying to control but Jackson is working from the bottom. Nisse won't allow Jackson to get back to his feet. Nisse throwing strikes but missing. Nisse stops Jackson from standing up. Jackson has a closed guard, preventing Nisse from standing up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Cameron Jackson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Nisse drops back looking for a leg! Jackson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jackson manages to kick Nisse off! Nisse jumps back into Jackson's guard.

Nisse wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jackson gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cameron Jackson. That's going to take a lot out of him. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jackson dives in and grabs Nisse's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nisse pushes down on Jackson's head and hops out.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Cameron Jackson. I think Nisse has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
