The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spinks fails with a takedown attempt.
Samsonov uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Spinks has time to react.
It looks like JJ Spinks has been cut.
Spinks shoots for a takedown but Samsonov saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
