Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Juvintude DeNomee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodney Witherspoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). DeNomee comes to the cage accompanied by I'm country. Rodney Witherspoon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeNomee fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Witherspoon looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
DeNomee goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
DeNomee takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
DeNomee rushes Witherspoon and presses him up against the cage.
DeNomee successfully pulls guard.
Witherspoon thows a big elbow that misses.
DeNomee keeping moving, preventing Witherspoon from controlling successfully.
DeNomee scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Witherspoon shoots for a takedown but DeNomee saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
DeNomee drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Witherspoon tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Witherspoon can't do much from the bottom here.
Witherspoon is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, DeNomee asserts his dominance and retains side control.
DeNomee wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Witherspoon, who protects the arm well.
Witherspoon wants to control but DeNomee postures up.
Witherspoon is looking to reverse the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
DeNomee tries to bum rush Witherspoon with a series of wild strikes but Witherspoon uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
DeNomee scores with a jab.
DeNomee shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
DeNomee is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Witherspoon sees it coming and defends easily.
Witherspoon is trying to control but can't.

Witherspoon is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
DeNomee looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Witherspoon is looking to improve his position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
DeNomee getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Witherspoon takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
DeNomee throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
DeNomee fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Witherspoon sprawls well initially but DeNomee persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
DeNomee is working for a submission of some sort.
DeNomee is breathing heavily.
Witherspoon is trying to stand up here but DeNomee is controlling him well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are battling for position here. Witherspoon manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
DeNomee has gone for a leg lock! Witherspoon slips out almost immediately though and dives into DeNomee's guard.
Witherspoon slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Juvintude DeNomee dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
DeNomee swats away the attempt to clinch by Witherspoon.
Witherspoon throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and DeNomee counters with a stiff right hand.
Witherspoon shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and DeNomee counters with a nice double leg into side control. Witherspoon won't be happy with that.
Witherspoon is trying to improve his position.
DeNomee is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Witherspoon knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Witherspoon manages to get back to half guard.
DeNomee is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Witherspoon moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Witherspoon striking off his back but it's not causing DeNomee any problems.
Witherspoon had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. DeNomee defends it easily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Witherspoon looking for submissions from the bottom but instead DeNomee passes into half guard.

DeNomee is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
DeNomee wants to work for an arm triangle but Witherspoon is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Witherspoon manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

DeNomee is squirming around, avoiding Witherspoon's attempts to control the action.
Witherspoon lands with some vicious ground and pound - can DeNomee hang on?
Witherspoon thowing shots but they're missing.
Witherspoon won't let DeNomee get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Witherspoon is going oldschool here, as he tries to force DeNomee to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so DeNomee shrugs it off.
DeNomee takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Juvintude DeNomee will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

DeNomee is looking for a kimura but Witherspoon is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for DeNomee to get the leverage.

Juvintude DeNomee overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
DeNomee is thwarting Witherspoon's attempts to control the position.
Witherspoon tries to roll over but DeNomee keeps him under control.

Witherspoon dives in and grabs DeNomee's left leg, looking for a takedown. DeNomee pushes down on Witherspoon's head and hops out.

Witherspoon shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. DeNomee defends it nicely.
Juvintude DeNomee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rodney Witherspoon.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

DeNomee is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if DeNomee hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
