The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tee stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Shane Tee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Manks tries to close the distance and clinch but Tee swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Manks keeps the fight on the outside.
Manks throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Tee gets caught flat footed, as Manks shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Tee not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Tee is working an open guard so Manks takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Manks fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Tee sprawls well initially but Manks persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
