Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Keli Beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liam Weir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Keli Beast has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beast tries to close the distance and clinch but Weir swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Beast tries to clinch but Weir is having none of it. Beast lands a high kick!
It looks like Liam Weir has been cut. No joy there for Weir, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Beast tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Beast tries to close the distance and clinch but Weir swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Weir scores a takedown into full mount! Weir dominating with strikes here. Beast wants to control but Weir is having none of it. Weir tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Weir stands up from mount. Strange move.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beast wants to clinch. Beast tries to clinch but Weir is having none of it. Beast doesn't manage to clinch there - Weir circles away.
Beast tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Weir paws at him with a jab and circles away. Beast shoots and misses and Weir counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Weir working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Beast is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Weir pulls his head out easily. Weir stalling away here and it's allowed Beast to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Beast keeping moving, preventing Weir from controlling successfully. Weir loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Weiris looking to pass into half guard but Beast pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Beast is in guard. Beast avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Beast looking to pass the guard. Beast trying to control the position from guard on top but Weir is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Beast stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Weir swivels though and keeps the full guard. Weir will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Beast tries to clinch but Weir moves away and Weir counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Beast thinking. Weir feints and as Beast raises his hands in defense, Weir changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Weir advances to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Weir wants to take a breather but Beast is having none of it. Weir trying to pass the guard but Beast defending well. Weir decides to return to a standing position. Beast is breathing heavily. Beast tries to clinch up so Weir counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Weir is looking to stand up but Beast won't let him. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Weir stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Beast swivels though and keeps the full guard. Weir's corner is telling him to maintain position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Liam Weir dominated that round. The cut man is working on Liam Weir's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Beast clinches up with Weir and pushes him back against the cage. Beast with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Weir gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Beast.
Beast fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Beast scores with a knee to the head.
Weir stalls. Beast tries a knee to the head but Weir blocks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Beast throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Weir blocks it with crossed arms. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Beast tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Weir just stands there and leans against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Keli Beast. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beast using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Weir has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Weir sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Beast is trying to work for a kimura but Weir is defending well.
Weir preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Weir trying to control but Beast postures up.
Beast looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Beast is thwarting Weir's attempts to control the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Weir tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Liam Weir will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Liam Weir's cut. That's time! Beast's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Weir closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Weir looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Weir stands up and beckons Beast to his feet. Beast gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Weir counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Weir. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Weir gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Weir fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Beast sprawls well initially but Weir persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Beast tries to get to full guard but Weir has control of the leg. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Weir is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Beast doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Weir. Weir thows a huge punch but Beast dodges it nicely.
Weir decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Beast wants to clinch so Weir counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Weir lying in Beast's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Beast decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Weir taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
