Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Apollo Creed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig Regan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Apollo Creed has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Apollo Creed! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Craig Regan! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Luis Engracia and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Regan fails with a takedown attempt. Regan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Creed as he avoids it easily. Regan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Creed sprawls well initially but Regan persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Creed really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Creed moves into full guard.
Creed keeping moving, preventing Regan from controlling successfully. Regan preventing the sweep. Regan slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Creed tries to land a sweep but no joy. Regan tries to free his leg and advance position but Creed is retaining full guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Creed is on top in guard.
Regan is trying to control the position but Creed postures up. Creed is fighting to break Regan's control of his arms but Regan is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Creed drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Creed jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Regan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Creed's guard. Creed tries to land a sweep but no joy. Regan tries to free his leg and advance position but Creed is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Regan trying to control the position from guard on top but Creed is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Regan seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Craig Regan. Regan fails with a takedown attempt. Apollo Creed has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Craig Regan. Creed tries to clinch but Regan moves out of range.

Regan looking to sit in guard and control but Creed gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Creed is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Regan pulls Creed in close to prevent any damage. Creed trying to control but Regan is working from the bottom. A close round but Craig Regan will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Regan trying to control but Creed is working from the bottom. Regan not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Regan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown so Creed counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Regan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Creed's guard. Regan is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Regan pushes down on Creed's leg and manages to get into half guard. Creed is trying to maintain the position but Regan is very close to passing his half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Regan not doing much here.
Regan wants to take a breather but Creed is having none of it. Regan content to control rather than advance. Craig Regan has got the better of the ground game so far. Creed is looking to improve his position.
Well, if Regan is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Regan has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Creed working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Regan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Regan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Creed is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Regan defends well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Regan controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Creed keeping moving, preventing Regan from controlling successfully. Regan stays in close to Creed's body and controls the position. Creed looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Regan controls from within his opponent's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Craig Regan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Regan's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Creed is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Despite being in the dominant position, Craig Regan just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Creed throws a lazy body kick and Regan counters with a nice double leg into guard. Regan wants to control from the top but Creed keeps moving. Regan controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Apollo Creed has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Regan is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Creed is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Regan has managed to free his arm - good work.
