The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duran ducks under a wild hook from Sweeperton.
Sweeperton swings for the body but Duran moves out of range.
Sweeperton is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Duran.

Bas Duran has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leg Sweeperton.

Sweeperton fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Duran manages to avoid it.
Sweeperton tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Duran was well out of range. Poor timing from Sweeperton.

Duran is squirming around, avoiding Sweeperton's attempts to control the action.
Sweeperton is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Duran to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Duran shrugs it off.

Sweeperton is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Duran is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Duran flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Sweeperton anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Duran and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Sweeperton slips an arm under Duran chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Sweeperton has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Sweeperton is squeezing on Duran like an anaconda would it's prey. Duran fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
